About Denise
I became a therapist to help others navigate the kinds of challenges that life can bring. I understand how overwhelming things can feel at times, and I’m committed to providing a space where you feel supported, understood, and able to move forward.
Over the past 15 years, I’ve worked with a diverse range of clients across inpatient, outpatient, and community mental health settings. This experience allows me to meet you where you are and tailor therapy to your specific needs.
I’ve supported individuals navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, substance use, and complex life stressors. I’m also experienced in assessing higher levels of care when additional support may be needed.
I believe that all of us—no matter who we are—have the internal resources needed to overcome challenges. My approach is strengths-based and person-centered, meaning we focus on your unique abilities and experiences while working together toward meaningful, practical change.
Our work together will be collaborative, supportive, and focused on helping you feel more grounded, more in control, and better equipped to handle what life brings.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and provide telehealth therapy to clients in Tennessee and Connecticut.
Outside of my work, I enjoy hiking, reading, and traveling.
